French Vintage Ceramic White Tureen with Ornate Handle

A beautifully unique French vintage white soup tureen with elegant handles, four little feet, and on the lid a wonderfully ornate handle with what looks like spring onions and foliage. A very unusual piece indeed. Maker's mark underneath tells us it's demi-porcelaine by French manufacturer, Luneville.

Condition: good used vintage condition with the expected age-related wear to the feet, crazing, and small areas of worn glaze/imperfections to the circumference of the tureen; the lid has the odd nibble on the inner rim and out of sight, under the handle which is barely noticeable, and on the very outer circumference. French Vintage Alsatian Dog Book Ends - The Perfect Gift for Dog Lovers

A stylish pair of French vintage Alsatian dog book ends, the heavy bases being made from marble/onyx, while the metal dog sculptures are most likely spelter which has been given a bronzed paint coating. French Antique Framed Prints with Hand-Painted Details (Pair of)

A pair of beautiful French antique printed illustrations on board. Once taken out of the frame you'll see two illustrations that have been fitted to a thick wooden backing board. Someone back in time has added paint to the illustrations and made a very good job of it, which is why on first inspection you could mistake them for original oil paintings (due to some texture). As you can see, these will make fabulous pieces of decor whether you display them on the wall, or perhaps leaning on a sideboard. To the rear, the wooden boards have been placed in the wooden frames and large nails used to hold them in. Probably not suitable for those who want perfect pieces, but if shabby chic is your thing, these are ideal.

Large English Antique Blue and White Ironstone Meat Platter marked Staffordshire - Willow Transferware Pattern

This is a rare find - a very large English antique serving willow-ware meat platter which probably dates from the Victorian period onward. This heavy platter is most likely stoneware/ironstone due to its weight, but could also be earthenware. The maker's mark is 'Warranted Staffordshire'. This plate is really an impressive piece that will be perfect decor for any collection.
