A stylish pair of French vintage Alsatian dog book ends, the heavy bases being made from marble/onyx, while the metal dog sculptures are most likely spelter which has been given a bronzed paint coating. I have fitted the underneath of the marble bases with a tasteful green colour felt that will prevent the book ends from scratching your furniture. In summary, a wonderful and practical piece of home decor which is also perfect for the dog lover.
